8-day stay, family with child. Comfortable room, nice view from the balcony, good bathroom, good shower. Close to the beach, excellent infrastructure available (with parasol and two deckchairs, restaurant, events). The value of the hotel is very fair, 3 meals a day of excellent quality. Very friendly hotel staff! In the province of Ravenna there are also amusement parks and, of course, the beautiful city of Ravenna, with its mosaics and Dante's tomb.

We were 10 days as a family with a small child.The room was ok, clean tidy and they cleaned every day.The beach is right in front of the hotel, across the street.Really friendly staff who know no language other than Italian(excluding Francesca).If you don't know how to speak Italian, get ready to speak with your feet and hands 🙄 That was good. And now what we didn't like and we paid 1220 euros HB.To start with the reservation and initial information. I always book a holiday hotel directly through the hotel I go to.In this case, it took me exactly 17 emails to book an arrangement. Like everyone who travels, I had a lot of questions about the hotel, which I wrote in the first email.From all the questions I wanted answered, I only got answers to some. And that is very irritating.Eventually we got e mail confirmation for the theme room (little mermaid), but at check in the gentleman (owner) didn’t know what I was talking about.Later, his daughter Francesca compensated for this by saying that it was a room for a girl and not a boy and that she could change the bedding on his bed in for example, Spiderman. We ate the same breakfast for 10 days but literally identical. Eggs, bacon, salami, cheese and ham are all choices of salty things. A large selection of sweet things and they change every two to three days. But salty, the same every day As someone who really loves a nice breakfast and follows the reviews for the hotels where i am staying, this was very disappointing.Lunch, a very strange way of choosing and a disastrous translation into German, English was not even an option on the table.They offer a set menu, and the first gang is in 99% of cases pasta (3 types), I think we had soup as an option for two days.The second gang was relatively good and tasty although the choice was very narrow.There is no dessert for lunch except fruit, unless there is left desserts from dinner the day before.For such a "big" small hotel lunch has a window of only an hour from 13-14h. Everyone of course comes at the same time and then the wait is inevitable. For us, for example, it was 3 days of 40 minutes. Insufficient staff during lunch and dinner leads to quite confused faces of guests.The walls in the rooms are very very thin, it is almost impossible to sleep during the day ... And during the evening loud music that prevents sleep even with closed windows but fortunately does not last long only until ~ 01h. I can't write my review on Booking.com because I booked directly through the hotel. But I sincerely hope that this will be appreciated by the hotel and things changed for the better I write this as a chef (17 years of experience) who works at the Marriott Hotel in Munich. But above all, a family man who likes to enjoy his vacation.

We discovered this hotel last year, we were looking for a family hotel, close to the sea but more importantly that offered gluten-free cuisine for our celiac daughter. Well what can I say, it's the second year we've been back, clean rooms, staff on the floors always courteous and smiling, staff at the restaurant always courteous and ready to satisfy every whim, the girls at the reception and the guys at the bar are exceptional, the entertainment is excellent and finally The owners are very courteous and attentive to the needs of each customer. Having a heated swimming pool and a play area on the property's terrace is also beautiful and convenient. I would like to focus on gluten-free cuisine, every glutinous dish (starter, first course or dessert, lunch or dinner) is also offered in the gf version, here no one eats "different", good breakfast with small homemade desserts and packaged classics. We felt at home again this year, we will definitely be back. Thanks for everything ♥️

Hotel suitable for children and families. I have been coming back every year with my family since 2019 and they are always super organized, available for every need, very good and varied cuisine and with homemade dishes to satisfy all tastes. Spacious and clean rooms and all the staff extremely polite and friendly. Excellent location because in front of the sea and with a pine forest in the shade in front where you can stay even with babies of a few months. I recommend coming at least once. 🙂

We stayed at the Smile Hotel at the suggestion of our grandparents who had already been there several times. We went with small children (the older one was almost 3 years old and the little one was 5 months old). The room was simple but equipped with a mini fridge, TV and bathroom with shower. On the beach we had an umbrella and 2 deckchairs, there are games everywhere for children and the sea is shallow, perfect for the little ones. In the evening, walk, games room and entertainment. We had a good time.
